Troubleshooting

Upload fails or stalls

Possible causes:

  • Unstable internet connection
  • File format not supported
  • Not enough storage space
  • File is corrupted

Solutions:

  1. Check your internet: Run a speed test, try a different network
  2. Verify file format: Make sure it’s one of the supported types
  3. Check storage: Free up space or upgrade your plan
  4. Test the file: Try playing it locally to ensure it’s not corrupted
  5. Retry: Refresh the page and try again

File uploaded but won’t process

Possible causes:

  • File is extremely large (> 1GB)
  • File has unusual encoding
  • Temporary server issue

Solutions:

  1. Wait longer: Large files can take 5-10 minutes
  2. Refresh the page: Sometimes the UI doesn’t update
  3. Contact support: If stuck for >15 minutes, we can investigate

Can’t upload (button grayed out)

Possible causes:

  • Storage quota exceeded
  • No permission to upload to this drive
  • Account is suspended

Solutions:

  1. Check storage: Delete old files or upgrade plan
  2. Check permissions: Ask drive owner to grant you upload access
  3. Check account status: Look for any alerts or notifications

Waveform looks incorrect

Possible causes:

  • File has unusual sample rate or bit depth
  • Mono file displayed as stereo
  • Corrupted metadata

Solutions:

  • The file will still play correctly even if waveform looks odd
  • Try re-exporting the file from your DAW with standard settings
  • Contact support if playback is also affected

Naming conventions

Use consistent file naming for easier organization:
