Common Questions

Everything you need to know about playlists

How many playlists can I create?

Unlimited. Create as many playlists as you need for mix sessions, album sequencing, client deliverables, or A&R review. No restrictions.

Do tracks in playlists count twice toward storage?

No. A track counts toward your storage quota only once, even if it appears in multiple playlists. Playlists create references, not duplicates - zero additional storage.

Can I share a playlist publicly?

Yes! Use Public Sharing settings to generate a shareable link. Set it to public (anyone with link) or password-protected for extra security. Recipients see all tracks in your defined order.

What happens if I delete a track that's in a playlist?

When you delete a track, it's removed from all playlists that contain it. If you move the track to trash, it's still accessible in playlists until permanently deleted. Restore from trash to bring it back everywhere.

Can collaborators reorder tracks in my playlist?

Yes, if they have Uploader or Admin permissions on the drive. Viewers can only play the playlist, not modify the track order. This allows teams to collaborate on organizing content together.
